The Gangneung Nongak Preservation Society has been walking down the hill from 1938 for the purpose of building the foundation for the understanding of traditional culture, development of local arts & culture, and preservation & continuous succession of important intangible cultural assets of Gangneung nongak.

The Gangneung Nongak Preservation Society runs a traditional culture experience school for the understanding of our traditional culture, the conservation and successive development of the important intangible cultural assets of Gangneung nongak.
You can experience various programs such as learning our sounds, tea ceremony and etiquette, masquerade play, Hanji craft, woodworking, and making traditional masks.
